Why can’t Nancy go to sleep?
Nancy cant go to sleep because she keeps thinking about Collin and what had happened between the two of them.
How did Nancy used to be? How is she now?
Nancy said she used to be a positive, happy little kid, and now she feels like an empty box of loneliness.
Who is Catsup? Who and how does she compare it to Collin?
Catsup is her red kitten that had been squished in a busy street, and she compares Collin to Catsup because she felt no one had ever loved her, or would ever love her.
Why do you think she is so confused about the rape?
I think she is confused about the rape because she believed that the two of them connected and were a perfect match.
What do you think of Collin? Have you ever met someone like him?
I think Collin did a childish move by ruining Nancy’s life because she was just a teen and now is traumatized for the rest of her life.
Why does she take more than one shower a day or change clean clothes?
Nancy changed to clean clothes and showered more than once because she didn’t feel comfortable of what had happened.
What does she remember sister Teresa telling her?
Nancy remembers Sister Teresa telling her that god forgives her, and that she hadn’t lost her soul, and wasn’t going to hell.
Have you ever felt like not a person but just a bunch of bones?
I think ive felt like not a person, and so have other people because everyone has thoughts.
Who do you call for advice? Why?
I think I would talk to my mom or brother for advice because they care and worry about me.
Who does Nancy call for advice?
Nancy called sister Martha from the church to ask for advice.
Whose phone call is Nancy waiting for?
Although Nancy hates to admit it, she is waiting for Collin’s phone call.
How and where does Nancy try to reach Collin?
Nancy tried reaching Collin by calling the university and giving his name, but he does not exist in their list.
What did Nancy reveal to her mom? What does mom do?
Nancy reveals what had happened between Collin and her, and her mom decided to pay more attention to her and help her through her struggle.
Where did mom take Nancy as a little get away?
Mom took Nancy hiking out of the town so the two of them can get her mind off things.
When is Nancy’s birthday? How old is she gone be?
Nancy’s birthday is on May, 10 and she is turning 15.
How was Nancy’s birthday?
Nancy explained her birthday to have been the most mag party she’s ever had in her life.
What did they do on Mother’s day?
Nancy and her mom went to the mass, and after the two went on a picnic, and a daylong hike.
What did you do for your 15th birthday?
On my fifth teen birthday I remembered I spent it with my family and friends.
Who is Lew?
Lew is one of Nancy’s friend that went to her birthday, which they played table tennis and gave her a ride home.
What do you think of her mom? Do you think she is a good mom? What and how would you be if you were her mom?
From what I have read so far Nancy’s mom seems caring and worries about her daughter before anything. Therefore I believe she's a good mom.

1. Hannah goes to Mr. Porter her first period teacher and guidance counselor, and no he did not help Hannah.
2. Hannah's conversation with Mr. Porter was short and not really clear because Hannah couldn't open up to Mr. Porter.
3. I think Mr. Porter could have had helped Hannah if he had really tried and not let her leave his office.
4. I don't think Mr. Porter went after Hannah when she walked out his office because she didn't want to press charges or confront him.
5. Mr. Porter- was unhelpful in helping Hannah
Clay- was hurt because Mr. Porter did nothing to help Hannah.
Hannah- is confused and doesn't know what to do.
Hannah's last words "Thank you."
6. Hannah was crying because she was hurt and confused in what she should do.
7. A time where i couldn't control myself from crying was the end of this chapter.
8. I think Hannah said thank you for whoever took the time to listen to the tapes because it tells them they gave her their time.
9. My favorite part of this chapter was everything because of how its all coming to an end and makes me wonder.
10. I can relate to this chapter because I've known counselors that don't really do much do anything to help.
11. Conspiracy- A combination of persons for a secret. Illuminate is a Conspiracy theory.
Guidance- The act of leadership. My mom always gives me good Guidance.
Circumstances- A condition that modifies a fact. Don't judge her unless you know every circumstance.
12. I think that in the next and final chapter Clay will deliver the tapes and something unexpected will be revealed.
13. I think the teen issue in this chapter is that teens really don't open up to adults/counselors so they cant really help, although Mr. Porter should have had done something.
